Ceramic tile roofs, timber roof structures, skylights and complete pitched-roof renovations for villas and houses on the Costa Blanca.
Traditional Spanish villas and cortijos rely on pitched tile roofs for both aesthetics and functionality. Ceramic and concrete tiles are durable, but they deteriorate over time: ridge pointing cracks, tiles slip, and the underlying felt degrades. Whether you need a full re-tile, new timber structure, or targeted repairs after a DANA storm, DAM TECHO S.L. handles every aspect with in-house craftsmen.
Strip, inspect and replace the complete tile covering with new ceramic or concrete tiles, new underlay and re-pointed ridge.
Repair or replacement of rafters, purlins and ridge beams. Treated timber for Mediterranean conditions.
Supply and installation of Velux and equivalent roof windows. Re-sealing of existing skylights to eliminate leaks.
Replace broken or slipped tiles, re-point ridge and hip sections, repair flashing around chimneys and vents.
Installation of high-performance breathable membrane under tiles for secondary waterproofing protection.
Structural assessment and reinforcement to ensure the tile roof can safely support solar panels.

Quality ceramic tiles last 50+ years. The limiting factor is usually the underlay (15β25 years), mortar bedding and timber structure. We inspect all components and only replace what is needed.
In most cases yes. We carry a wide range of standard profiles and can source matching tiles from local suppliers. For listed or heritage properties, we source reclaimed tiles to maintain authenticity.
Like-for-like tile replacement generally does not require a permit in most Costa Blanca municipalities. Structural changes or changes to the roof slope may require an obra menor licence. We advise on this as part of your quote.
