Demolition & removal
Complete dismantling of the existing roof: tiles, battens, boards, old membranes and, if necessary, the deteriorated load-bearing structure. All waste is managed in accordance with current regulations. The interior of the property is protected throughout the demolition process to avoid damage.
New load-bearing structure
Installation of a new treated timber or metal structure according to each property's needs. Correct slopes are designed for water drainage. Critical points such as eaves, valleys and wall junctions are reinforced. All new timber is treated against wood-boring insects and rot.
New definitive roofing
Installation of the new roofing according to the chosen system: ceramic tiles, concrete tiles, bitumen membrane or sandwich panel. Waterproof membrane is laid under tiles on pitched roofs. Quality finishing and detailing at all junctions, chimneys and edges.
Insulation included
Every integral renovation project includes a high-performance thermal and acoustic insulation system. In Alicante, insulation is especially critical to reduce interior heat in summer. We use rock wool, XPS or rigid panels depending on the roof type, with thicknesses required by the CTE building code.
When is the right time for a full renovation?
