We typically need to strip the existing tiles and screed to expose and replace the membrane. Once the new waterproofing is laid and tested, we re-screed, re-tile and finish. This is a proper solution — not a patch over the top.
We recommend large-format porcelain with an R11 or R12 anti-slip rating. It handles extreme UV, won't fade and is easy to maintain. Natural stone looks beautiful but requires sealing. We'll show you samples and advise on the best option for your specific terrace.
